3 Levels of Thinking: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/04/paul-gingrich-a-chickenhawk/
In this interview with Ron Paul by CNN's Soledad O'Brien, Ron Paul criticized GOP Candidate Newt Gingrich about the ethics and morals of sending soldiers into war without having gone over to fight in Vietnam when the opportunity presented itself. Gingrich received deferments in the draft and did not fight in the Vietnam War. Later in the interview Paul Said, “We get twice as much support from the active military personnel than all the other candidates put together. He also defended himself about a tweet regarding Jon Huntsman’s success in the Caucus. The message was sent from the account @RonPaul, which is the candidates official feed. Paul admitted that he “has some help tweeting."
I have been hearing a lot about what America needs as a leader and I’ve heard people say that we need a commander and chief, not a experimental president and a do-nothing congress. In the debates though, to counterpoint someone’s idea, using “I’m a more radical extreme republican than you, is not a valid excuse.” We don’t need a political obsessed official to only support the Republican side, or Democratic Side. We need a leader that is going to fix the debt problem, make congress actually do something, and end the war on terror. All parties need to work together and quit picking the best of the worst. Out of 300 Million people, not one person can take both ideas of Republican and Democratic and use them to create a solution that will be accepted and will actually work. That seems extremely unlikely. We need a leader mostly to step up, quit all the drama and rise above the rest of the candidates that are only concerned with one or two topics.
Dear America,
We all have our problems and skeletons in our closets. No one is perfect and the media is so out of hand. This country was built on strong morals and strong faith. Yes, we may have different opinions, but we must learn that our opinions may not always be right. Our politicians are becoming high-schoolers again arguing about who is right and being completely ignorant to any other opinions. A new generation is going to rise up to power after the politicians of today. We only hope that today’s politicians screw up so bad that we can’t change it back to what it has become.
Sincerely,
The next generation that understands more about sharing ideas and listening instead of fighting and arguing.
Bill, I think YOU should run for office!
